Instructions for use and storage of the cracking liquid
Cracking Liquid is a water-based product. The evaporation of the water contributes to the creation of the desired pattern. To be able to use the liquid for a long time, please pay attention to the following:
- After using the liquid, clean the neck of the bottle thoroughly.
- Close the bottle carefully, immediately and thoroughly after each use to prevent the liquid from drying out and forming lumps.
- CAUTION: Before sealing the nail, make sure that the Cracking Liquid is completely dry. As this is a liquid and not a gel, it is easy to make a mistake as to when and whether the liquid is already dry. Even a small area that is not completely dry can result in the sealant not adhering to the nail.
- Please note: Complaints in connection with incorrect storage and use of the product are excluded.
FAQ - frequently asked questions
I applied the Cracking Liquid as shown in the video instructions, but it stands up during drying and flakes off.
This is due to the gel used as a primer for the Cracking Liquid . Different gels have a different "sticky" dispersion layer. Please use the products Cracking Liquid BASE COAT or Snow White suitable for Cracking Liquid as a primer. The correct primer ensures that the Cracking Liquid does not flake off when drying and that the surface of the nail remains smooth.
Cracking Liquid Leaves streaks when applied
That doesn't matter. After the cracking gel has burst, the brush marks will hardly be recognizable.
Cracking Liquid does not "burst" or it takes a very long time
Cracking Liquid is a water-based liquid. The thicker the layer, the longer it takes for the water it contains to evaporate and the cracking pattern to form. Cold air from a hair dryer is a great help. This reduces the drying time enormously.
Why is the cracking pattern sometimes fine, sometimes coarse?
The thicker you apply the layer of cracking liquid, the coarser the pattern will be and the slower it will dry.
Using Cracking Liquid BASE COAT as a primer generally produces a coarser pattern than Snow White.
Can Cracking Liquid still be placed under the UV/LED lamp?
Yes, this merely accelerates the cracking process, as the water contained in the product evaporates more quickly under the heat generated by the lamp.
What do I use to seal the nail with the Cracking Liquid?
All finishing gels from Saida Nails offer good protection for the Cracking Liquid.
