Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

On this page you will find answers to many frequently asked questions about our shop.

Questions about login & customer account

  • Why can't I log in?

In each of these cases so far, the problem was due to incorrect entries. Therefore:

    1. Check if you want to login with the correct email address.
    2. Check if you have written your password correctly.

If both applies and the login still does not work, request a new password (via the link "forgot password" in the login window).

  • What can I do if I have forgotten my password?

In the login window you will find the link "forgot password" (see graphic below) under the fields for email and password. Click on it. The following window explains step by step how to retrieve a new password.

IMPORTANT: If you do not receive the email with the link to change your password within 10 minutes, be sure to check your spam folder!

  • I have given a new password and still cannot log in. What do I do now?

You probably tried to log in with the new password and ended up on a page that requires a security code (see graphic below). Do not despair! Enter your login data again , confirm the security code and you are logged in.

Background: Retrieving the data and the code again is a security measure that is necessary if you have tried to log on several times in vain. This makes so-called "brute force hacking" more difficult.

  • Although I am registered, the shop says my email address is unknown. What is the problem?

In principle only two cases can exist:
    1. You have tried to log in with the wrong email address.
    2. You have created your account over 3 years ago and have not used it since. In this case your account and all data will be deleted in order to comply with the requirements of the GDPR (right of deletion / right of being forgotten according to Art. 17 GDPR).

Questions about the shop

  • Do I need a trade licence to buy from you?

No, you do not need a trade licence to buy in our store.

  • Can I get a discount with a trade licence?

In our store we do not differentiate between commercial and private customers. Our prices are standardized across the board, which is why there are no trade discounts. The VAT ID is only relevant for EU customers outside Germany, since the German tax can be deducted here thanks to EU regulation on double taxation.

You will find all countries to which we ship our goods under the menu item Shipping & Returns.

  • Can I buy gift vouchers from you?

Yes, you can! Simply send us an email to info@saida-nails.de and answer the following questions:

    1. How much should the voucher amount be?
    2. How would you like to pay the voucher (PayPal or bank transfer)?
    3. Which name should the voucher be issued to?
    4. To whom should the invoice be issued (name, address)?

The voucher will be sent to you by post.

Questions about products

  • What is the best way to cure my gels? Under UV or LED?

Please read the description of the respective gel in the store. We have provided a description of the lamps under which each gel can be cured. In general, however, all our gels can be cured under LED without hesitation.

  • How long must gels be cured under LED?

    Usually 30 to 45 seconds.

  • Why is there always a time span specified for LED lamps and no concrete time?

That is because of the different types of lamps. In difference to UV lamps, which have a fixed wattage (and thus allow fixed curing times), LED lamps vary depending on the manufacturer. Unfortunately, therefore, no specific time can be given.

  • What is the difference between BLOOMING GEL and BOOSTER GEL?

Basically, BLOOMING GEL is the inversion of our popular BOOSTER GEL. Booster Gel is dripped into a wet base paint and creates small bubbles in it (by displacing the paint). It spreads within the color and is delimited by it. Blooming Gel, on the other hand, IS the base into which color (soak off gel or gel polish) is applied. Here the color spreads and is limited by the Blooming Gel. Thus Blooming Gel offers various possibilities, which go far beyond bubble patterns. Become creative - draw lines, shapes, patterns into the Blooming Gel base and be amazed what nail designs result from it.

  • Which colour is suitable as base for Booster Gel?

In principle you can use any color gel as long as it does not have a thin consistency. For example, you can replace the Foil Black, which we used in some of our older Youtube videos, with our " Color Gel 01 Black " without hesitation.

  • Can matte gels also be coated with gloss gel?

Yes, you may. Matte gels don't have to be sealed, but they can be sealed like normal color gels.

  • I have processed nail art foil exactly following the instructions and after about 2 weeks parts of it are shedding. What am I doing wrong?

Unfortunately this is difficult to say from a distance. However, it is most likely due to the sealer. Not every sealer is suitable for foil designs, which can compromise durability. High-quality sealers can be found in our store under "Gels - Finishing Gels".
